このたび世界の持続可能な観光地100選「Green Destinations Top 100」に選出されましたのでお知らせします。

民間企業が所有・管理する森林としては日本初の選出となります。

■Green Destinations Top 100について

Green Destinations Top 100は、持続可能な観光の国際認証団体であるGreen Destinations Foundation（本部：オランダ）が毎年選出する、世界各地の優れた取り組みを持つ観光地のリストです。

環境保全、地域社会への貢献、文化・伝統の継承、経済的な持続可能性など多角的な基準で評価され、世界的に注目されています。

Ikawa Forest, managed by Juzan Co., Ltd., has been selected for the Green Destinations Top 100 — the first privately owned and managed forest in Japan to be recognized.

The Green Destinations Top 100 is an annual list compiled by the Green Destinations Foundation (Netherlands), recognizing destinations worldwide for their excellence in sustainable tourism.
